Auch das Gebäude „ Marktplatz 7 “, das spätere „ Hotel Deutsches Haus “, begann 1617 als Brauhaus und wurde 1831 mit stillschweigender Duldung des Rates zu einem Gasthof und später 1856 zu einem Hotel mit einem kleinen Tanzsaal umgebaut.
Das marktseitige Gebäude „ Markplatz 5 “ beherbergte im Laufe der Zeit Arzt- bzw. Zahnarztpraxen, einen Kolonialwarenladen, eine Konditorei und Café sowie eine Weinhandlung mit Weinstube.
