Deutsche Bank Impact Investment Fund I
2011 legte die Deutsche Bank einen gesonderten, „ring-fenced“ Fonds auf, den Impact Investment Fund I.Dieser Fonds investiert 10 Millionen Pfund Sterling in Fonds, die soziale und Umweltzwecke verfolgen.
Vor kurzem investierte der IIF eine Million GBP in den ersten Social Impact-Rentenfonds in Großbritannien, der im dritten Quartal 2014 mit einem Volumen von 25 Millionen Pfund geschlossen wurde.

In der Ausstellung “ Plugged in, Fenced out ” wird das fotografische Recherchematerial in eine grossformatige, schwarz – weiss gerasterte Wandzeitung transferiert.
In die Repraesentation dieser Ikone einer realisierten Utopie werden Module und Collagen von architektonischen Elementen gegenwärtiger Dystopien — temporäre Containerdörfer, Provisorien, mobile Ein- und Aussperrungsvorrichtungen — montiert und eingeschrieben.

The exhibition “ Plugged in, Fenced out ” transfers the material of photographic research to a large-scale wallpaper, bitmapped in black and white.
The representation of an alternative modernism ( Habitat 67 ) is accompanied by modules and collages taken from architectural elements of the current failures of modernity ’ s promise of universal progress — temporary container villages, provisional compounds, and mobile constructions that either enclose or exclude.
www.lot.atDas fotografische Material der Abwicklung von Räumen und Perspektiven wird zu einem räumlichen Dispositiv, das den Verlust des utopischen Potentials der Architektur, aber auch die alltäglichen und spektakulären Dystopien, die gegenwärtig unsere Städte und urbanen Erfahrungen prägen und formieren, verhandelt.
“ Plugged in, Fenced out ” thematisiert aktuelle Urbanisierungsprozesse, deren Logiken von Verwertbarkeit, Flexibilität, Effektivität, Mobilität und dem blossen Benuetzen der Stadt und ihres Terrains bestimmt sind.
Die Arbeit stellt nicht mehr die Frage nach urbanen Utopien, sondern lenkt den Blick auf die unauffälligen, abseitigen, zum Alltag gewordenen, aber auch spektakulären Formen gegenwaertiger “ metabolistischer ” Prozesse ( zb EURO 08, Wien ) und fragt nach dem Effekt, den diese Formen auf unseren städtischen Alltag haben.

“ Plugged in, Fenced out ” focuses on present-day processes of urbanization – processes determined by the logic of utility, flexibility, effectiveness and mobility, as well as by the neoliberal enclosure and privatization of city space.
This work no longer poses the question of urban utopias, but rather directs a view to the inconspicuous, marginal, and the everyday and spectacular forms of contemporary “ metabolic ” processes ( e.g. EURO 08 in Vienna ) and poses questions as to the effect that these forms have on our urban experience.
