Das CCH wird sich durch die Umgestaltung des bisherigen Eingangsbereiches und des neuen Ostflügels in Europa an die Spitze der „stand-alone-purpose-built“ Kongresszentren setzen.
Eine endgültige Entscheidung des Senats und der Bürgerschaft der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg über die Realisierung wird für Ende des Jahres erwartet.
