BIOGRAPHY Olivier Tardy first studied in the city of his birth, Clermont-Ferrand, and afterwards at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris.
Since 1996 he has been principal flautist at the Bavarian State Opera, and has played under such illustrious conductors as Claudio Abbado, Seiji Ozawa, Zubin Mehta, Günter Wand and Daniel Barenboim.
