Mit dieser Empfehlung wird ein Verfahren aufgezeigt, um ( a ) den OEM und Tier1 durch eine Prognose möglicher, sich abzeichnender Bauteilabkündigungen bzw. Werksschließungen eine verbesserte Reaktionsmöglichkeit zu geben und ( b ) den Bauteileherstellern durch eine Prognose der Bedarfe bessere Planungsmöglichkeit zu geben.
Diese Empfehlung ist das Projektergebnis der VDA-Arbeitsgruppe "Auslaufmanagement von Elektronikkomponenten" in Zusammenarbeit mit dem ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V.
