Mit dem Partizip drücken wir Vorzeitigkeit aus – die Handlung im verkürzten Nebensatz fand also vor der Handlung im Hauptsatz statt.
Das Partizip ist veränderlich (es richtet sich in Numerus und Genus nach dem Beziehungswort).
Beispiel:
espanol.lingolia.comIn this case, that means the action in the elliptical clause took place before the action in the main clause.
The participle is variable (it agrees in number and gender with the word it’s referring to).
