Die IFHOHYP ( International Federation of Hard of Hearing Young People ) ist eine internationale regierungsunabhängige Organisation für nationale und regionale Jugendorganisationen , die schwerhörigen Jugendlichen in der ganzen Welt gewidmet sind .
Priorität der Organisation ist die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität von schwerhörigen Jugendlichen weltweit und die Gleichstellung von schwerhörigen jungen Erwachsenen von 18-35 Jahren in der Gesellschaft.

IFHOHYP is an international non-governmental organisation of national and regional youth organisations , that is dedicated to hard of hearing young people all over the world .
The priority of the organisation is to improve the quality of life of hearing impaired youths worldwide and the equality of treatment for hearing impaired young adults between 18-35 years in society.
www.myhandicap.de2003 wechselte er an die University of California Berkeley ( USA ), wo er neue Methoden zur Untersuchung des Richtungshörens entwickelte.
2007-2012 leitete er eine Forschungsgruppe am MRC Institute of Hearing Research ( Nottingham / UK ) , wo er untersuchte , wie Schalle aus einem Hintergrundgeräusch heraus gehört werden .
Seit 2011 leitet Prof. Seeber zudem die Cochlea Implantat Forschungsgruppe an der Nottingham Hearing Biomedical Research Unit (UK).
