In diesem Projekt werden Polarisationsparameter von Raumwellen zeit- und frequenzabhängig an Stationen des Gräfenbergarrays gemessen.
Anomale Polarisation direkter Wellen wird identifiziert und durch Slowness und Polarisation wird das Wellenfeld umfassend charakterisiert.Damit kann zwischen Heterogenität und Anisotropie als Ursache anomaler Wellenausbreitung unterschieden werden.
Mit Hilfe von Vorwärtsmodellierungen sollen die Ursachen beobachteter Polarisations- und Slownessanomalien lokalisiert und verstanden werden.

Anomalous polarisations are identified and the wavefield characterized by slowness and polarizations which allows to distinguish heterogeneity from seismic anisotropy as sources of polarisation anomalies.
Using forward modelling, the observed anomalies are to be validated and located.
