Durch die gesteigerten Ergebnisse in West- und Zentraleuropa, die das Resultat aus der strategischen Vorgabe des Zukunftsprogramms ALPINE 2015 sind, konnten die Rückgänge aus den von der Krise stark betroffenen Märkten Südosteuropas kompensiert werden.
Das Ergebnis der betrieblichen Tätigkeit (EBIT) stieg von 6,3 Mio. auf 23,1 Mio. Euro im ersten Halbjahr 2012 an, das Ergebnis vor Steuern (EBT) konnte von einem Vorjahresminus auf ein Plus von 0,6 Mio. Euro gedreht werden.
In den Geschäftsfeldern Hoch- und Kraftwerksbau (+ 9,7% auf 598 Mio. Euro) sowie Kommunikation und Energie (+6,3% auf 197 Mio. Euro) entwickelten sich die Umsätze positiv.
