High resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography ( HR-pQCT ) – clinical relevance of the results
www.schattauer.deGemeinsam mit Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern des Huntsman Cancer Instituts ( Universität Utah, USA ) und des Hughes Medical Instituts ( Universität Iowa, USA ) konnten in einem neuen Mausmodell zu Exostosen erstmalig die Entstehung dieser vorwiegend gutartigen Knochentumore in frühen Stadien beobachtet werden.
Prof. Dieter Jäger aus das Fakultät für Ingenieurwissenschaften arbeitet mit der Universität Bochum an der Entwicklung eines neuartigen Lasers für die OCT ( optical coherence tomography ) in Biologie und Medizin.

Prof.Dieter Jäger from the Faculty of Engineering is collaborating with the University of Bochum on the development of an innovative laser for OCT ( optical coherence tomography ) in biology and medicine.
