Die Vogelwelt hat eine vergleichbare Vielfalt:
immerhin konnten allein im österreichischen Teil über 100 Vogelarten nachgewiesen werden (in beiden Nationalparks über 150), fast 80 davon brüten im Thayatal.

Außerdem wird ein Querschnitt der gesamten heute lebenden Vogelwelt gezeigt – vom Flamingo bis zum Steinadler, vom Mauersegler bis zur Raubmöwe.
Die Ausstellung wird bis Mitte Juni 2008 zu sehen sein.
