The Beisheim Center, an elegant, American-style urban quarter on the prime property next to the debis site and the Sony Center, completes Potsdamer Platz as a location.
Five individual buildings of exquisite architectural design were constructed here: the Ritz-Carlton Berlin hotel with its luxury tower apartments; two representative office buildings; an exclusive apartment house; and the Marriott Hotel.
The Park Kolonnaden, consisting largely of office space but with some apartments, shops, and restaurants, are located on the southern side of Potsdamer Platz.
